This Code of Conduct may be revised at any time by Colette Media LLC (Seamwork) and the terms are non-negotiable. Your registration for, or attendance at, any Seamwork event indicates your agreement to abide by this policy and its terms.
We value the participation of each member of our community and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees throughout all Seamwork events.
Seamwork Community Values:
Community first
- We believe in the power of community.
- We build safe, diverse, and inclusive spaces.
- We always act with kindness, empathy, and integrity, and strive to do the right thing.
Celebrate uniqueness

- We say no to body shaming of ourselves or others. • We take the time to say something positive. Support each other
- We share our highlights and our struggles.
- We share our own experiences that could be helpful, rather than telling others what they should absolutely do.
- We help each other learn by sharing resources, tools, ideas, and experiences openly.
Build it together
- We offer ideas and feedback to help improve the community.
- We call out abusive behavior when we see it.
Our Goal
Seamwork’s goal is to host events where fun, connection and creativity meet inspiration, motivation, and learning in a safe and welcoming space. We believe an explicit code of conduct is a great way to help us stay aligned with this goal and with our Community values.
Seamwork Event Conduct Guidelines
To make clear what is expected, all attendees, speakers, exhibitors, organizers and volunteers are required to conform to the following guidelines:
- Give More Than You Take
What makes a community amazing is when people are more focused on helping each other than on helping themselves. Be as helpful as possible and everyone benefits!
- No Self-Promotion or Solicitation of Business
Do not use Seamwork events as a channel of acquisition. Our events are intended to build community and connection, not as an avenue of self promotion.
- No Hate Speech, Harassment, or Bullying
Help us make sure everyone feels safe in the Seamwork community. Be kind to others. Seamwork is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Attendees, sponsors, speakers, and staff violating these rules may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the event organizers.
