Issue 2: Posted May 23, 2015.
The first version of our printed Aster pattern contained inaccurate instructions on page 14.
Please make the following change in your instructions:
ATTACH YOKE BACK TO BODICE FRONT
- Place the right side of one yoke back (D) facing the wrong sides of two bodice front (A) or pleated bodice front (B) pieces. Stitch at the shoulders. This forms the inner yoke.
We recommend printing this corrected illustration and keeping it with your pattern for future reference. You can get a printable view of this update here.
This applies only to the printed version; the downloadable PDF version does not include this error.
Issue 1: Posted June 3, 2016
This issue affects the printed version of Aster only.
There is a discrepancy at the shoulder seam between the yoke back (D) and bodice front (A) piece on certain sizes. It is most noticeable on sizes 14 and above. If necessary for your project, you can download a new tiled bodice front (A) pattern piece here.
If you’re not familiar with printing sewing patterns at home, you can find a detailed article on working with digital patterns here. Alternately, the wide format version is a great option if you have access to a wide format printer.
